From a trail in Ryder Conservation Lands, Sandwich Ma. Late Winter 2013. Here's a description of this excellent hiking place:
"The Ryder Conservation area has a small yet interesting trail system. Leaving from the Trail head parking on Cotuit Road, Sandwich, you can follow the main trail system down a hill. You will reach Mashpee/Wakebe pond shore within just 200 yards. From there turn left along a rooted and moss covered main trail. This will branch into a couple minor trails.
